This anti-viral & immune-boosting green smoothie right here is all you need whenever you’re feeling under the weather and/or if your immune system is getting weak. The key to avoiding any seasonal virus is to avoid stress, get enough sleep/rest and feed your body quality and nutrients-dense foods. However, nobody is perfect and sometimes it can be difficult to get the time to make delicious and nutritious meals. With this easy immune-boosting and anti-viral green smoothie recipe, at least you know you will do just that for your breakfast. Best part is you can sip it on the go too ;). It will boost you right back up and give your body all the nutrients that it needs in order to fight any unwanted intruder and boost your immune system.

It’s simple and really easy to make. Here is all you need to prepare this delicious:

Anti-Viral & Immune-Boosting Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cup of water
  • 1 orange, peeled and chopped
  • 1 apple, peeled (if not organic) and chopped
  • 1-2 branch(es) of celery, chopped
  • 1 cup of leafy greens of your choice, I used spinach
  • 1/4 fresh lemon juice (squeeze it)
  • 1 TBSP of turmeric (great anti-inflammatory spice- you won’t even taste it)
  • 1 banana (frozen or not) but ripe and chopped!
  • 1 piece of ginger, peeled and chopped ( great anti-inflammatory compounds as well)
  • Optional: 1/2 avocado (instead of the banana for creaminess or on top of it for added creaminess ;))

How to:

  • Put all the ingredients in your blender and blend away!! Enjoy 😉

Ingrédients:

  • 375 ml d’eau
  • 1 orange, épluchée et coupée en plusieurs morceaux
  • 1 pomme, épluchée (surtout si non bio pour éviter les pesticides) et coupée en plusieurs morceaux
  • 1-2 branches de céleri, coupée(s) en petits morceaux
  • 1 bonne poignée d’épinards (environ 250 gr) ou bien roquette ou autre salade verte foncée
  • 1/4 de citron fraichement pressé
  • 1 càs de curcuma (une épice excellente pour ses propriétés anti-inflammatoires)
  • 1 banane, coupée en petits morceaux (congelée ou non)- mais surtout bien mûre!
  • 1 petit morceau de gingembre, épluché et frais (super pour ses propriétés anti-virales et anti-inflammatoires aussi)
  • En option: 1/2 avocat si vous n’aimez pas le gout des bananes pour rendre votre smoothie bien crémeux ou en plus de la banane ;).

Instructions:

  • Placez tous les ingrédients dans un blender et mixez le tout jusqu’à l’obtention d’une boisson crémeuse et savoureuse…
