Unfortunately, most conventional desserts and sweet treats are loaded with refined sugars, flours, artificial flavours, colourings, preservatives and other ingredients that can be extremely acidic and inflammatory to the body. This then leads to a whole array of dis-eases and illnesses.
When I started eating a plant-based diet with real whole and nutrient-dense foods, I discovered a whole new way to satisfy my sweet cravings without harming my precious “home” (i.e. my body).
That is when I discovered the pleasure of Desserts and Healthy Treats.
