I’m back with another delicious and super easy recipe for you guys. Today, I am sharing how you can create the perfect dessert/snack or even breakfast, whether it’s cold outside (have it warm) or super hot out – I am talking about fruit crumble; more specifically: Apple Raspberry Crumble. If you’ve never tried this type of sweet treat before, I strongly encourage you to do it. It’s oh-so-yummy and perfect with some yogurt or ice cream. You make your pick ;).

What I love even more about this sweet treat is that it is easily customizable. Indeed, you can replace the fruits with your favourite ones and you can even substitute some of the nuts used for the crumble. Honestly, it’s just so darn delicious no matter the combination!

So without further ado, let’s jump straight into the recipe! Here is what you will need to make this delicious:

Apple Raspberry Crumble

Apple Raspberry Crumble

Ingredients:

For the crumble

  • 1.5 cups of quick oats (or old-fashioned rolled oats, placed into a blender to make them finer)
  • 3 Tbsp of coconut sugar
  • 1 Tbsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of chopped hazelnuts (or almonds, pecans, walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup of melted coconut oil

For the filling

  • 4 apples, cored & chopped (of course wash them too)
  • 1 cup of frozen (or fresh) raspberries
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp of apple juice or water (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp of coconut sugar

How to:

  1. Preheat your oven at 350 degrees F (or 180/200 degrees C).
  2. Start by preparing the crumble. Add all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix them all together.
  3. Prepare the filling: add all of the ingredients to your baking dish
  4. Add your crumble on top of the filling.
  5. Place your crumble into the pre-heated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Once it’s ready, let it cool for a bit and then serve it with your favourite yogurt or ice cream.

It’s the perfect treat at any season in my opinion. In the Summer with some cold vanilla ice-cream and in the colder months, have it with some yogurt or even on its own ;).
